| D'you think this will be nice in Alpaca? |
Needless to say I succumbed to Pictish's pre-holiday sale, and bought a cone of green Alpaca.
Now I have been looking at patterns and I found this one Premier Pullover The only thing is that the original is knitted in cotton/tencel, so do you think that alpaca will be almost too soft and not hold any shape, or do you think it'll be nice and drapey and snug?

OK it's practically finished, but I'm having issues with the button band!!! I don't think I like it in garter stitch - don't suppose anyone did it in a hemmed st.st. did they? - That's what I think will look better but I don't know if it'll be too heavy.
Have also realised that you should do guage swatches!!! _ My row count is out, so it's quite a bit longer than the original, and the sleeves are full length. - Luckily I like it though!  |

This is lovely yarn. It's the first time I've tried it - ordered it from The Loopy Ewe about 8 days and it arrived today, my birthday, couldn't have asked for better timing. I'm really into blues/browns at the moment so the "Taos" colourway was ideal. I'm thinking this may become an FCS for me, as I've given my other ones away as presents. It's far too nice to be hidden away as socks anyway.

I like 80cm for socks, any longer and the loops twist round and come back to get me whilst I'm knitting.
You should be fine with your Knitpicks interchangeables |
